CAN YOU SUPPORT OUR SERVICE USER CHRISTMAS PARTY?

CAN YOU SUPPORT OUR SERVICE USER CHRISTMAS PARTY?

Christmas can be a difficult time for people and families struggling with drug or alcohol problems. Every year we provide a Christmas party for 90-100 service users and their families. This includes a cooked Christmas dinner and festive activities. Each person receives a gift.... delivered in person by Santa Clause in his Christmas grotto.

Providing a Christmas party with great food and worthwhile gifts helps support families who are using our services to stay motivated and keep on with their recovery in ways which benefit our local communities.

This year we’re asking for support towards the party in a couple of ways:

Staff and volunteers are entering the Skipton Santa run so maybe you’d like to sponsor them through our Just Giving page (coming soon)

Alternatively, could you donate a small gift (approx £5) for an adult or child by taking it to our reception office at 11 Temple Street by Tuesday 6th December.

People really do recover from drug and alcohol problems and support from the local community would be a fantastic boost to them in helping them believe their efforts are recognised.

A big thank you in advance –we’ll acknowledge all gifts and donations, keep any surplus gifts for next year and use any leftover sponsor money not used for the party to buy equipment for our ‘Growing Recovery’ allotment project.
