Positive About Partnerships
Project 6 is committed to the development of effective partnership working. We believe that voluntary and community sector organisations are often best placed to respond flexibly to emerging need, working in concert with a variety of stakeholders.
We understand that the funding situation is likely to become more challenging for all partners in the years ahead. We will therefore continue to work with others to deliver the highest quality services, at best value to meet the needs of our service users.
As a result, we will seek to strengthen and deepen our existing partnership arrangements, whilst developing new initiatives, wherever appropriate.
In 2011 we were particularly pleased with the progress made in our partnership initiative with DVS Keighley, delivering specialist interventions to vulnerable women who are the victims of domestic violence. We were also excited by the positive impact of our embryonic partnership work with Airedale General Hospital, to deliver integrated treatment and psycho-social support to vulnerable individuals, hospitalised as a consequence of problematic substance misuse.
