How we can help
The SPOT is a youth centre which works with young people in care and care leavers across Sheffield. The SPOT works to build positive relationships with young people, providing constructive activities to benefit the wellbeing of looked after young people in Sheffield, whilst also supporting their needs and goals.
The youth centre offers young people somewhere to come and socialise with their peers, as well as having a meaningful input on activities they would like to engage with. This includes trips during school holidays, decisions about meal menus and assisting with cooking, the design of the youth centre and how we set up for sessions. It’s about giving young people a voice whilst also helping promote empathy and diversity.
