Statement on the Change of Chair of Trustees

As of December 2024, Jo Morley will be stepping down as a Chair of the Board of Trustees for Project 6. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Jo for her service over the past four years and her tireless commitment to helping us meet our core purpose. During her time with Project 6 Jo has helped steer the organisation through a period of growth which has seen us successfully reposition ourselves within the commissioned treatment service in Sheffield and Bradford. Her skills and experience in both leadership and communications have played a vital role in helping ensure stability for staff and the people we work with during a period of unprecedented change for the organisation.

“I am incredibly proud of the achievements Project 6 has made during my time as a trustee. The organisation has taken huge steps to secure its financial future as well as doing the challenging work of moving to becoming a charity that more authentically represents our communities. This has been supported by a skilled and dedicated Board of Trustees.

It has been an honour to work with and lead the board, and although now is the right time for me to step down, the work of Project 6 will always stay close to my heart”

We are pleased to announce that Kes Lewis (Vice Chair) has been appointed as the new Chair of the Board of Trustees. Kes has served as a trustee for 6 years, is a disabled member of the queer community, and brings a wealth of professional experience in digital innovation and business management.

“On behalf of all the trustees, I want to thank Jo for her tireless work, helping to shape an inclusive and effective board. Her skills and insights will be missed; and we wish her well as she moves on to new challenges.

I look forward to working alongside the other trustees as Project 6 enters a new chapter with Jo Jepson as CEO.”
