Learning and Development Manager

About the Job  

We’re looking for an experienced and supportive Learning and Development Manager to lead and grow our training and development offer. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact, helping staff, volunteers and partner organisations develop the skills and confidence needed to support people experiencing challenges around their substance use, and other multiple disadvantages.

As our Learning and Development Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated training function, develop innovative learning programmes, and create a culture where people can thrive, grow and realise their potential.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the delivery of an agreed three-year Learning and Development Plan
  • Manage, support and develop the Training Team, placement students and Associate Trainers
  • Oversee training capacity, resources and workload to ensure high-quality delivery and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Design and deliver a bespoke leadership development programme
  • Develop and maintain an effective Learning Management System to support internal and external learning
  • Build strong relationships with partners, commissioners and networks across West and South Yorkshire
  • Support the growth and marketing of the organisation’s training offer
  • Develop an Associate Trainer model and explore new delivery partnerships
  • Ensure all learning activities meet quality standards and comply with health and safety, data protection, equality, diversity and inclusion requirements

Salary:

£33,254.55 per year

Hours:

Full-time, 35 hours per week

Location

Sheffield, Keighley or Doncaster with regular travel between sites

Contract:

Permanent
