Community Co-ordinator

Purpose of the Job

  • Promote financial resilience and wellbeing
  • Make recovery visible and empowering
  • Encourage peers to join and play an active part in the community
  • Support and enable growth & structure
  • Promote Project 6’s culture & values
  • Facilitate and deliver wellbeing session’s 2 evenings a week 4-6pm
  • Knowledge of the wider community and sign posting
  • Keep accurate records and general administrative duties
  • Organising and facilitating group sessions
  • This job is 2 days a week – 4pm-6pm, 3 hours Admin times to be discussed
  • There are 2 roles available (7 hours each), one to be Polish speaking

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Relationship building: Work in collaboration with Doncaster’s Welcome Centre and Bake, Battle and Roll.
  • Advocacy: Providing a strong community presence within the recovery community.
  • Data & Reporting: Recording data and evaluating progress
  • Have an integral role at Sober Social, Doncaster and the wider Doncaster community.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience or understanding of community engagement
  • Strong presentation and communications skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Motivation and creativity
  • Experience of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to plan and organise group sessions
