The venue is known as The Showroom Workstation Sheffield. It is made up of two buildings that are adjoined. One side is the Showroom Cinema and the other side is the Workstation. We will be using both spaces throughout the day and there will be clear signage and volunteers on hand to help with moving between the spaces. 

Reception

It is a big and light space. Here you will find:

  • Registration desk 
  • Accessible toilets 
  • Tea, coffee, water and biscuits 
  • Stalls set up by people and organisations who have sponsored the conference + local services 
  • There will be music playing

Cinema 3

Cinema 3 is located downstairs and there is a lift. The seating is slightly teared. The toilets are directly next to the entrance to Cinema 3. The seating is soft and comfy and there are spaces for wheelchairs. The panel will be seated in front of the cinema screen.  

There will be a short comfort break between the two panel discussions.

Creative Lounge

This is located directly next to the Reception. It is a large room with large round tables to sit at.  

Mezzanine

This is located upstairs in the Workstation and overlooks the Reception area below. There will be a small amount of sofa seating. Step-free access is available.  

Pinball Park

This is a small public space directly opposite the Workstation. There will be seating if the weather is nice enough to sit outside. 

Quiet Space

There will be a small quiet space available to use throughout the day. This is situated upstairs in the Workstation part of the building. It will be clearly signposted.
