Today we can confirm that Doncaster Alcohol Services has officially joined Project 6. We are delighted to welcome an organisation with a track record of providing services which deliver positive outcomes and impact in Doncaster along with a team of dedicated and skilled staff. The merger brings with it new opportunities to develop and expand local services that meet the changing needs of local people.
“Our shared values, culture and approaches to delivering quality services that meet the needs of our local communities, will provide us with a fantastic opportunity to meet the strategic challenges currently facing small charities. The merger will ensure the charities remain sustainable during this time of reduced funding, increased competition and austerity. It will provide us with opportunities for learning and growth and the development of innovative and effective services for our local communities. Our impact on our service users and their communities will be our prime measure of success”.
Vicki Beere, CEO, Project 6
As a combined organisation we will employ over 55 staff across West and South Yorkshire who are all committed to our core purpose of providing opportunities and choices for individuals, families and communities affected by substance misuse and complex needs, to create meaningful and sustainable change in their well-being.
The newly merged organisation will continue to be known as Project 6 working across 3 locations. These will operate as Project 6 Doncaster, Project 6 Keighley and Project 6 Sheffield.
