Project 6 is seeking a new Director of People to help lead us into the next stage of our journey as a values-led employer of choice. We deliver outstanding support to people affected by drug and alcohol use across Keighley, Bradford, Doncaster and Sheffield.

Reporting to the CEO, the Director of People will play a key role as a member of our dynamic and supportive Senior Leadership Team.
We are looking for someone with a strong, well-rounded generalist HR background, ideally gained within the voluntary or public sector, alongside a genuine commitment to our values and enthusiasm for the work we do. We welcome fresh thinking and innovation, and we’re keen to hear your ideas on how we can continue to grow and strengthen as an employer.
This is a part-time role, working three days per week, based at one of our offices in Keighley, Sheffield or Doncaster. We offer flexibility in how hours are worked and support hybrid working.
Purpose of the Job
To deliver Project 6’s strategic priorities as part of the leadership team by delivering sound and progressive People Processes and Policies.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- As a member of the senior leadership team, work collaboratively to deliver our strategic objectives and model our values
- Develop and deploy a flexible forward-looking People Strategy for Project 6, maximising the wellbeing, productivity, and potential of our people
- Lead the development of our People Systems and work to maximise the use of our human resources, to deliver as much high-quality frontline work as possible, in a sustainable way
- Ensure that Project 6 is a safe and healthy place for people to work
