A Flexible, Two-Pathway Model
Our integrated model ensures people receive the right level of support, with the ability to respond as needs change:
Prevention & Early Intervention
- For low and moderate risk
- Brief one-to-one support, group programmes, and harm reduction
- Support for affected others and young people
Treatment
- For moderate to high levels of harm
- Structured 1:1 interventions, peer support, and group programmes
- Access to specialist and NHS gambling services
- Specialist support for concerned others
All referrals will be screened using an NHS-aligned assessment to ensure appropriate support.
Training & Community Support
The Gambling Harms Service will offer free training and resources for professionals and community groups to help:
- Recognise signs of gambling harm
- Have confident, supportive conversations
- Understand referral pathways
- Reduce stigma and increase early intervention
We also deliver outreach and engagement across community settings to improve awareness and access to support.
