Hospital Mentoring Service

The Hospital Mentoring Services provides support for people in Sheffield over 50 who have been admitted to hospital with any issue related to alcohol use.

We have a wealth of professional and personal experience, you can expect a welcoming, supportive and non-judgmental approach from our team.

The team deliver a range of support during your hospital stay and are there on discharge to help you make sustainable changes. This includes:

  • Harm reduction advice
  • Motivation and goal setting towards improved health and wellbeing and recovery
  • Reducing social isolation by improving connection to positive communities
  • Signposting and referring to partner organisations

Who is the service for

This service is for you if you:

  • are over 50 years of age
  • have recently been admitted to hospital in connection to your alcohol use
  • are wanting to make changes around your alcohol use
