We are delighted to announce the appointment of Jo Jepson as our new Chief Executive Officer at Project 6. With extensive experience working in the voluntary and community sector, Jo brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise as she takes over the leadership of the organisation.
Over the course of a 20-year career working in charities, Jo has developed a strong track record in leadership, strategy, and team development. Her passion for addressing health and social inequalities has driven significant positive change, especially in her most recent role as CEO for Base 51, a charity that supports young people’s wellbeing and their transition into adulthood.
I’m Jo I am incredibly proud to be leading an organisation with such a strong reputation and history as Project 6. I’ve been passionate about social equality for as long as I can remember, I have a strong belief in holistic approaches, putting people at the centre (and front) of their own journey, and ensuring that they have access to the right support at the right time.
My initial focus has been on getting to know the teams and gaining a better understanding of the impact of our services. I am pleased to be working alongside an effective and driven senior leadership team who provide stability for all our staff and stakeholders during this time.
Like many charities of our size, Project 6 is operating in a challenging and ever-changing funding landscape. The long-term sustainability of the organisation is my key priority, whilst looking for opportunities to build on the life-changing work already being carried out.
