One challenge that faces some of the people Project 6 supports is that of food poverty.

We work alongside several organisations in Keighley, including the Salvation Army and Keighley’s Food Poverty Action Partnership providing food provision to assist those struggling.

Our community cafe on Monday evenings provides a meal and safe space particularly for those who are experiencing drug and alcohol addiction. The Salvation Army host a meal each Tuesday evening as well as running the food bank in Keighley. They have just released their annual reveiw on the statistics behind food poverty in Keighley.
