We have been working in Sheffield for over 40 years. We provide free and confidential support around a range of issues, including alcohol and other drugs use. Whenever you access our services you can expect to be welcomed and listened to.
From 1st July 2024, Project 6 Sheffield will be moving from 646 Abbeydale Road to our new home at 24 Cumberland Street, Sheffield, S1 4PT.

FAQs
Who will you tell that I’ve visited you?
No one without speaking to you first, we take confidentiality very seriously. The only time this may not be possible is when there is risk of potential harm to you, or someone else.
What personal details will you need from me?
Usually all we will need is your name, date of birth and contact details. There may be some instances where we require a little more information to deliver the best quality service.
Can I bring someone with me?
If you’re visiting for the first time you may feel more comfortable coming with a friend or loved one. Depending on the service it might not be appropriate for them to join you in your appointment, but they are always welcome to wait with us for you to finish.
What if I don’t want to stop drinking or using drugs?
We believe in choice and support people in range of different ways. Some people may be seeking abstinence, some people aren’t. We will work together to find out which of our services is right for you.
Is there a charge to use the service?
Nope, all our services are free of charge.
