Training Officer (Housing; New Vision Bradford)

Purpose of the Job

  • Purpose of the Job: 
  • To create and deliver learning and development including training to staff and volunteers and wider partners. 
  • To support delivery providers to be skilled and educated around substance misuse issues and solutions.  
  • To help build capacity and capability in services to ensure that they can respond appropriately to the needs of the people they serve. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Working closely with colleagues to create, develop and deliver training material. 
  • To identify barriers, gaps and opportunities in skills and knowledge across the contract  
  • To develop and co-produce a range of learning materials, directed at services, that will promote and enhance the experience of people using our services   
  • Speak to partners and colleagues to find opportunities to deliver and develop partner organisations 
  • To actively evaluate training to monitor impact and to help continual improvement 
  • Produce relevant documents and reports in support of the role. 
  • Attend and contribute to meetings with other staff and partners. 
  • Work with the Director of People for any other Learning & Development needs across the organisation.
